Events in Singapore 9-13 Sept 2006

My wife and I and two friends will be making a short trip to Singapore 9-13 Sept and would love to participate in the Oktoberfest on the 15th but must be back in Bangkok at midnite on the 13th.

If there are any events that are taking place in Singapore while we plan to be in town, we'd love to hear about them. Two of us are diabetics and the other two do not drink much at all, but we all eat like every meal will be our last...lol

Please advise concerning ANY events taking place in Singapore 9-13 Sept to: Ken and Rattana Bower

wat's the price range?

Price Range

We rarely put a price range on entertainment or FOOD but I suppose our friends who are also making at least their 3rd trip to Singapore with us would be uncomfortable spending more than S$120-S$150 nite on food and entertainment.

Let me advise that two of us are over 70 years old so the teeny bopper events or anything dealing with ultra loud music probably wouldn't be our bag.

Love a great restaurant with soft background music myself, but I'm pretty flexable excepting ANY even including rap music, hip-hop music or karaoke.

And thank you for your timely response,

Ken and Rattana Bower

First of all, thanks very much for the invitation. It is a wonderful invitation. I would like to know the organizations or corporations that finance this event.

However, I am not Singapore yet. If somebody wants to send me a return ticket from Toronto, I would really appreciate it.

Have a great fun for those who will be in the festival.
