I'm a big movie fan, but hate going alone. Looking for some friends to go with anyone interested?

Why do you need courage? You buy a ticket, sit down, watch the movie.

You'll be surprised how many other people are there alone watching the same movie you are watching alone. Just don't go at the busy times. Be brave and just do it!

imagine if someone is brave enough to walk infront of the screen before the movie starts to have a show of hands who are watching the movie alone!

yeah, there were a lot of things i thought i couldn't do alone before i starting living alone. it's not that bad, and you'd be shocked at how many people really don't care or even realize that you're by yourself (i.e., everyone else in the theater.)

It nice 2 know that one can actually go watch movie alone. But juz that sometimes somethings juz cant b done alone..(Probably that my mentality )..I cant imagine myself watching movie laughing or crying alone..Haha But thanks for that,probably i will juz try it for once(when my courage comes )2 see how it feels

yeah i completely hear you. i think in singapore it's even harder than in some other places to do things alone, just because the whole culture here is so much about family and friends. when i was living in new york, there were so many things you did alone, and you'd always see people alone.. maybe because it was a big city and no one really paid attention/cared? when i talk to my local friends here, they get so shocked when i tell them that i went blading alone (not that it's a group sport to begin with), or ate dinner alone, or got sick alone without mom to spoon feed me chicken soup while wiping my sweaty forehead. well, we're born alone, and we die alone, cant hurt doing some of the things in between alone right? (not advocating the movie alone thing btw, just saying... )
