Dear all,
Beware of buyer contacting you from UK. This buyer will use BOE bank to do the transfer but somehow money will not go through into ur account. Anyway, Beware of all buyer. Thks Jay

HAHAHAHAH!!!.. You actually Fell for the Scam!! I thought only people who aren't savey falls for that kinda crap!
Oh btw. to correct you. Iti has nothing to do with Bank of England. If you were overseas you get UOB or DBS banks being listed too.

Hmmm.. i dont know whether you are cursing me or wishing me good luck. I hope i dont ever get scammed, i hope that i dont ever get cheated because i dont wish that on others. Unfortunately, this scam is old and all internet scam are obvious. Thinking by opening a bank account and getting a large sum of money is an obvious con. Some research will tell you that.
Yes i did laugh at the posters experience, you can say it is mean, but what else can you do? whine about it??I think better to learn and laugh about it and move on

Bet you were selling a handphone weren't you.
The bank will release the funds once you have shipped the phone (must provide the tracking numbers). Right? Are you sure it was the Bank of England? or was it the Bank of Essex? Sure sounds like you got scammed.
Rough luck, one can only wish it happens to those who make fun of it happening to others. It happens on eBay quite often.

Yes it sure does happen quite often on ebay, I have caught a couple of them out, and reported them, they are easy to see, if you don't let greed take over. Knowing the actual retail price of products also helps.
For example my experieence on ebay, is that the going rate is approx 2/3rds cheaper than the retail price, just to give an idea, not to pay to much.
The scammers will nearly always try to contact by email, and ask a stupid price, around 25% off retail. there are many in UK, from Polish and other eastern europeans pulling the stunt.
One must be very careful. I've been lucky up to now, not to fall for any.
