My messenger live lost connection 6 times on friday morning between the hours of 12.30 am and 4 a.m it is not the first time this happend, Like I said long ago, that i was having problems accessing my webmail from servers in USA, it was dropping connection, engineers have been out 3 times, to test the line, everything looks fine, the modem was also tested.
But still, i'm dropping connection, and in my opinion, after talking with my wife who used to manage an ISP in Taiwan, we have concluded, that Singtel are screwing the bandwidth overloading, so that it forces people to upgrade.
I know some will be sceptical at this idea, although my wife assures me it can be done, it is normal when you sign up, that bandwidth isn't released until it is required to consumers.
I find it very strange that it is only web pages outside of Singapore that have trouble loading, and will quite often hang.
A trace does reveal a bad router connection when leaving Singapore, however, Singtel customer service just keep sending engineers, but nothing gets fixed.
I can honestly say in 20 years i have never ever had a bad connection like this, and I have decided to lodge a wriiten complaint, for compensation. I do not agree that consumers should pay 50$ a month for a crappy connection. Lucky for MSN that it does log every disconnection.
