Does Singapore immigration checkpoint require birthplace shown on foreign passport?

Every passport I have ever seen has birthplace on it. Doesn't yours have that? And if not, which is the country of issue? Seems to me that if your passport should have birthplace and it doesn't, you might have a problem. OTOH, if birthplace is not recorded I can't see why ICA would care.

I'm a canadian citizen and i have chosen not to show place of birth on my passport.

Does Canada let you do that? Or have you just blocked it out? My Canadian passport has my birthplace listed.

how do u fill up all the immigration forms. all of them require place of birth to be filled in....
