What brand is your watch?
You can try a place opposite Suntec and Conrad International Centeninal Hotel. It is one of the shops along Walk of Frame. I hope it is still there, very professional guy. The other shop you can try is Sincere watch. There is one at Suntec and the other is Ngee Ann City, orchard road.
Hope this information helps.
Cheers.

Is it automatic or battery, I have fixed many in my time, love watches, most problems are lack of service. My father-in-law had an old Omega seamaster from 1973, that he purchased new, only 2 months ago, he had taken it to two watch repairers in Taiwan, and they couldn't fix it. So I gave him a brand new Seiko, while he was here on holiday.
I said leave the Omega with me, and i will get it fixed, well like always, i needed to take a peak inside, had a good look around with my jewelers magnifying glass, and could see what the problem was right away! Less than 5 minutes and the watch was keeping good time over the period of a week.
A good watch can run for a 50 years without beeing repaired, service is important, even automatics need a clean every couple of years
