Bored as hell in October Holiday!

okay guys, for those who don't have romantic hoildays to go to during the 21st of october til the 24th of october WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING!

some of us who are staying in Singapore and have nothing better to do than sitting in front of your TV... we need to get out there!

WTP and I though about going someplace near by for the extra extra hoildays.

So here's a though:
1) JB (am... we need experiences malaysian here.....)
2) KL (okay fine fine only I haven't been there)
3) Singapore near by islands?
4) and I can't think of any... please suggest!!!

okay so I've heard that going to near by trips is really expensive during these few days. So here are other activities that we can do.

1) Cycling around Singapore (okay I admit only I'll be interested)
2) Playing Mahjong for the four days straight! (nah isn't not going to happen), although somehow i'm sure one day will be playing mj~
3) and I can't think of any... please suggest!!!

It will be really great if you're interested in joining us/ getting suggestions from you guys! thanks!

I dont think i am able to make it as I am having a medical appointment with TCM on 21st.

I am not here to discourage anyone who wants to go there, just want to share my view, as 21st is a Deepavali and 24th is Hari Raya Puasa, it is normally advisable not to go Malaysia during this period... why? here is the answer

1. It will be very crowded as many fellow Malaysian here who work in Singapore will take this opportunity to go back to their hometown, not forgetting many Singaporeans and tourist here will also want to go there too.

2. it is money extortion time, especially in custom, where sometimes they will make your entry difficult. To ease that, they will tell you that u need to pay VISA (coffee money) in order to enter smoothly.

3. Price of taking a cab will go up as this is a super hot festive season.

I think EPL will agree with me.. but of course if EPL is joining you guys, it will be much easier

i go to Johor very often these days, especially on weekends, and i've got a foreign pasport. But it has always been so smooth. No questions asked so far :)
I might be going back to Johor with my hubby during that period, can't confirm yet though. How many are interested to go there? perhaps we can go Tioman? anybody been to Tioman? I haven't been there

Okay we are final!

me and WTP have talked about this and it looks like we're going to JB for two days and one night really short trip.

We are going to shop, eat, and watch cantonese movie (seems like a good idea hey?) [which reminds me that I want to watch Rob-B-hood.... @ least it's in Cantonese] Also heard that food there is cheap and tasty~~~ Yum yum! Can't wait!

So Cherryblue and husband still going? Because we have Crystaljade to give us tours~~~

people who are going to JB from Sat to Sun (21st of october til 22nd of October)

1) Bobby
2) WTP
3) Crystaljade
4) Fung?
5) Cherryblue?
6) Cherryblue husband?
7) Anyone?
8)....
