im a 16 yr old girl. recently i've got frequent 'giving way' of my left knee whenever i am doing sports or not walking properly. i injured my knee during a soccer match. it had been a year now and it hadn't recovered. i've seen a doctor right after e injury but dey did not detect a ligament tear. i went to see a doctor at kkh 2weeks back because of e same problem again and e doctor said it was Anterior Cruciate Ligament Tear. (acl tear) im going for a mri scan tis coming fri. e doctor said that i will most probably have to undergo a surgery.

has anyone done tis surgery to0. im a little worried abt it. if yes, is it painful? and will i nid to depend on a crutch to walk right after e surgery. cox i heard tt most patients can go home rite aft e surgery.

I purchased the electrical heated accupuncter stimulator, from Owell in Sin Lim.
Although I didn't have a tear, my condition was diagnosed on the MRI scan for operation in Taiwan, because of no medical insurance cover, it wasn't going to be Cheap on both knees. I damaged them through mountain training, running 25km 3 times a week, the down hill journeys, did the actual damage of squashing the cartlidge, to such an extent, they never retuned to their normal position. The operation would have consisted of cutting away the damaged cartlidge.

On arrival in Singapore I purchased the machine, and used it every day for 3 months, I must admit, that it did allow me to run again, and i don't do the heavy stuff anymore. I think I gave around 300$ maybe 4 cannot remember, but it's worth evey penny. thanks for e above suggestions but all of it seems quite out of point. i have a torn ligament and i want to find out abt e conditions aft surgery.
