help-is traffic bad returning by bus from KL next weeK?

Hi, we have train tickets to KL tomorrow. could not get return train to Singapore so we bought bus tickets. Am now worried about making the trip as am hearing that I will be stuck in traffic at immigration for hours enroute back to Singapore. Travelling with 2 year old hence the apprehension. Anyone done the trip on a holiday weekend and experience this? We are returning on Tues Oct 24th.
Yes, traffic will probably be bad. Use the Second Link instead of the Causeway and hope for the best...
