I've been to Epicurious and Simply Bread on Robertson Quay for breakfast and they're great (especially Epicurious), anyone else got any good weekend breakfast/brunch cafe recommendations?

There are quite a few in Robertson Quay :)

I like the book cafe around the corner, but away from the river, got all the magazines you can read, it's been my normal sat hang out brunch place. very chill out, very quiet in comparison to the ones upfront.

However, if you prefer the river view, I also like River Cafe it's at 41 Robertson Quay, a sydney/melbroune type of cafe setting, if you know what I mean I like their salmon bagel. yummmmm

Then there's Cedele, which believe you would have heard it before, it's got one in suntec, one in great wall, one in somewhere orchard....I love their bread, and their spinach mushroom quiche. Although smoothie is done using the fruit flavour milk wouldn't recommend it.

did you mention Epicurious? I haven't tried, but heard about it....

I can go on and on about it, love those bistors, and cafes in the RQ area.....!!! :)

oh got one more! this one is in between Singaporean and Western style, another favorite place of mine, I like the setting too...

It's called Toast Box, in Plaza Sing, right next to Breadtalk, opposite to subway.....I love their sinful peanut thick toast.....that would make me feel like i'm in heaven!

Hey there, thanks very much for the recommendations. Definitely lots of choice in Roberston Quay. You should definitely try the Epicurious breakfast. The muesli parfait is delicious! :)

If you like your cheese and eggs, this is a good place.

You can check out their lunch menu. I was there for brunch a couple months ago on a Saturday so I'm pretty sure they do brunch.

One thing though, they are child friendly so be prepared for the odd screaming kid if you're unlucky.

The Marmalade Pantry at Palais Renaissance is prob the best in Singapore... You will definitely need to book for weekends.

Champagne brunch at the Hilton, brunch at 190 at the Four Seasons with free flow martini cocktails. Oh yeah, they both do food too.

Of course, you could go elsewhere for a bagel..........

I pretty much enjoyed the All Day Breakfast at The Garden Slug. It has a very laid-back atmosphere, suitable for slow weekend brunchy thing. Go to their website www.thegardenslug.com for map and directions.
