Hello !!

I recently moved to Singapore and hired a maid thru an agency. I am not happy with it. I had a wonderful maid in Colombia and I want to bring her. What is the best way to do it without being ripped off by an agency? Can I do it myself?

I'm afraid you're out of luck, as Colombia is not on the list of allowed countries for maids.

Hi,

I would not give up after trying just one maid. Keep looking around and you'll find a good one. Singapore is strict about maids and I would not try bringing someone from a country that is not approved. I know of a family who was fined heavily for bringing a "maid" into Singapore as a visitor or a relative of some sort.
