Hi Batli,

I often go to Malaysia, as Singapore is quite small.
Have been to Thailand too but require more time!
Places I have been often are Malaka, KL, Kukup, Desaru, Genting, Mersing, etc... on a day ride or over the weekend.

Are you a biker?

cheers

Yeah I am a biker, and I ride Phantom TA200. I have been to Malaysia but no further than JB. I will be taking TP test for Class 2A soon, but will not upgrade my bike till I get my Class 2 license. I love to go on long rides on motorbike and I have done long distances in India. The idea of exploring Malaysia/ Thailand on motorbike sounds exciting, but I am not sure Phantom is capable to endure such long distance at speeds over 120 kmph. I have visa to go to Malaysia till end of next year. Do let me know if you have any plans.

m8 I am not talking about 120Kmph on Spore Roads. Check with speedy about the avg speeds most group bikers do for long distance rides to Malaysia/Thailand. They usually avg more than 130kmph with regular stops at 200kms intervals, but these speeds I think are quite normal on Malaysian highways on those bigger cc bikes 600 -1300cc bikes.

That's right Batli . I don't see anything "crazy" when riding a bike at 120 kmph which is a very reasonable speed, depending on the road condition, of course!
Will let yoo know for the next ride if you like to join.
cheers

Hi guys.!my husband and I love riding. Malaysia is still the best destination for riding. Agree with speedy – 120kmph is kind of normal speed for a super bike. We also ride up to 140kmph – sometime. Well I don’t think I want to that again. 120kmph is just nice – depending on the road condition.

We ride to Thailand once – and looking forward for another trip

Keep us inform on your up-coming riding trip..
