How did you learn to drive on the left?

I've been driving on the right side of the road for a long time but have never driven on the left. I'll have to start learning in a month or so, though! Any advice? Things to watch out for? Places where I can practice after passing the theory test? And for anyone who's made the switch already, how did you do it?

Always remember the sidewalk is on the opposite side to the steering wheel! Especially at roundabouts! That way, you don't have to remember if it's a left or right hand drive car.

It's really not a problem - you'll soon get the hang of it with a little pratice. I'm from the UK but have often driven on holidays in mainland Europe and the US and the main thing to remember is to pull away on the correct side of the road when you start driving each morning and concentrate hard at the first few intersections, then it becomes pretty automatic.
