Hi,

only been there once yet, but i'd suggest some kind of pub - hobbing :) there are just too many, try a few. For dancing either MOS or Attica I heard should be good.

Also check FNDC, some guys are planning to go out there today.

You get into MOS through an alley on the side of Clarke Quay. There are two areas. Usually one is hip hop and the other is techno. (or "house" as people say here)

Attica also has two dancing rooms but one is special access only. There is also a courtyard area to relax in, which is quite nice.

You will pay quite a bit more to go to "big" clubs like Attica and MOS, and there are lots of smaller bars at Clarke Quay that also have dance floors. These smaller ones usually have a lower cover charge or none at all.

I like both kinds of clubs there, but it depends on my mood which one I choose each night. If you walk around I'm sure you will find something that you like.

Have fun!

for me i still prefer attica compare to mos. the crowd are more mature compare to alot of youngster at mos. if i go to mos i prefer the 54 or pure room.

i think the locals call attica a "flesh" market.
the best nights there i think are on wed / fri / sat. The crowd is a bit older / mature.

MOS has a variety of rooms. the hip hop room is great but is really packed and the crowd is very young. they have a house / techno room which i think is their largest, and they have another smaller bar upstairs with more house / techno and they have what they call a "retro" room also upstairs. retro is hits from the 70s 80s etc.

there's another placed called zouk which is a lot of fun.

i've heard balaclava is nice as well.

that's all i know of...

As far as I remember, you don't need to pay to get to MOS, which makes this place amazingly crowded with local youngsters. I was there a few days back and couldn't move at all.

Attica is kinda cool but I prefer St James.

how come i always have to pay $25 to get into MOS??? :x

st james seems to get mixed reviews but everyone always agrees that MOS is a lot of fun...
