Hi,

Contractually we need to get a quarterly A/C service. There are plenty of classifieds on this site, plus I've collected numerous flyers, but would anyone who has a quarterly service contract be prepared to recommend their contractor and supply details?

If it makes any difference, we are located on River Valley Rd, and the 6 units are hidden behind grilles rather than your more usual wall mounted type.

The cheapest I have found so far is $426 (for 6 units) if you take an annual contract with First Aircon Engineering based in Tampines Industrial Park (if anyone knows them) but cheapest isn't always the best...

Pls take note of this HORRIBLE aircon company : BEST TECH AIRCON ENGINEERING PTE LTD
My family and I had a very bad experience with this company.
1) Lousy workmanship: the aircon compressor opening was not properly sealed after the installation and the technician claimed " It's common, no big deal, almost every customer will encounter such issue every now & then". We had it service for 8 times before they finally 'solved' the issue - by PLASTERING THE WALL with layers & layers of silver taping.

2) Horrible aftersales service - From the telephone operators to the technicians, they were all very rude and even had the cheek to say "our servicemen dont like to service your aircon". THE AIRCON WAS INSTALLED JUST 1 DAY AND THE LEAKING PROBLEM OCCURRED just 3HOURS later & was service 8 times!!!!

3) The lousy workmanship made cracks on the walls too! Then, the nuts and bolts used for securing the bracket was rusty within days. The worst part is that we are still stuck with it and am waiting for them to come and fix it.

4) Don’t fall their so called rebate vouchers for aftersales service too cos no matter what the amount given, u can only use 1 miserable $10 voucher for every aircon servicing. Absurb!

They gave $120 worth of it to us but on the condition that we utilize it within 2 years. Meaning 1 year service 6 times! So we can all see how ‘CONFIDENT’ they are of their workmanship and products. (BTW, We install a TOSHIBA System 3)

Today I am sending this post because RAIN WATER is SEEPING through my aircon opening again.

PLS TAKE NOTE & BE WARY OF THIS COMPANY; BEST TECH AIRCON ENGINEERING and not go through what we went through.
