HI people, does anyone knoe wat is the typical flight roster of a SQ flight attendant is like?

i have no idea but i don't think there's a typical roster! i mean, there are over 6000 crew, you know. all i know is that rosters/schedules are irregular for FAs. sorry i'm not of help!

there's a mixture of short flights, turnarounds and long flights + standbys.

you'll usually get at least 1 long flight in a month.

it really depends. also depends on what type of aircraft you can fly.

my dad lately has been doing more flights to Europe and my exboyfriend to the States.

you seem to be talking about pilots instead of flight attendant! or is it just me?

oh! i'm talking about cabin crew!

like some crew might do 777, 747, some might just do Airbus or blahblah something like that la. haha.

Crews can be 777, 744 and 747 trained. Some will be 300ER trained and some do 345, direct to LA.

And therefore roster really depends as nothing is fixed unless you're 345 trained.

345 are the direct flights to LA and New York as well if i remember correctly.

not all crew get to do those.

Intrinsic, any idea which planes you would be trained in? A380 included?

Typically, 747 & 744. Other types will only be after certain flying hours.

well basically everyone gets to do the 777 and 747.

according to my dad, the 345 are for more senior crew, i guess also because most of the passengers there are businessmen perhaps?

as for the 380, well who knows? they're having major recruitment due to the new planes coming in but i guess they could use senior crew to do those flights and get the new ones to do the 777&747, but that's just speculation.
