Singapore Expats

my husband works in west Singapore, n as there are limited no. of private properties in west, we prefer to buy the property in east especially in Marine Parade road. First of all Is it a good idea ?? and can you please suggest some good condomonium in the Marine Parade or in east.

I personally prefer the East, especially Marine Parade, cos it's just so near the beach, and the food is great at the Food Centre and Seafood Centre. It's a nice place to hang out during weekends ... cycling, roller-blade, jog, cable-ski, picnic, people-watch, reading It's proximity to the airport and the vibrant shopping centre, Parkway, is just so attractive.
