Been searching the forum but couldn't find anything regarding my particular situation.

I'm wondering if anyone have any experience in converting a non-english EU drivers license?

Particularly in regards to the translation that is required?

Don't know which country you're from exactly, but I had the same situation. I got the translation from the embassy here in Singapore.

Just went there with the driver's licence, paid a fee and waited for some 10 minutes. So call your embassy here in Singapore and ask if they do the same.

I had the same experience. You need to make sure that your translation is stamped by your embassy (otherwise SG government won’t accept the translation). For me I had to go to a translator recognized by my embassy and then go to the embassy for stamping.

Once you have that all you need is to pass the Basic Theory Test and you’ll get your Singapore driving license.

was checking the postings and have a little query. Once you got your licence translated, stamped by the embassy and passed the singaore driving test, do they take away your initial EU licence or can you retain it for when you are in Europe ?

Hi _ re the last post - no, once you have done the translation and passed the test etc, they give you back your EU licence and then you receive a SIngapore licence about 10 days after applying.
