American Family Needs Housing Advice

Hi, Our family is moving to Singapore this Summer. Our children, ages 5 & 7, will be going to SAS. My husband's job is on the other side of the island around district 7. We need to find a house / bungalow-type somewhere between district 25 and district 7; so that our children don't have a long bus ride to school and my husband does not have too long of a commute. Can anyone recommend any neighborhoods for our family?
