Singapore Expats

Hello,
I am a university student in Chicago, coming to Singapore for a yearlong fellowship. I will be spending three months intensely learning Chinese (Mandarin), and am looking for the best program to do so. I know of NUS, Cambridge, and Inlingua, to name a few. Are you familiar with strengths and weaknesses of any of these programs, or can anyone suggest any others to look into?

Feedback from a friend who attended NUS's Mandarin course for beginners is that though pricey, it's very good value for money.

High level of motivation needed as there will be loads of prep to do for class. Not for the faint hearted! But you'll get a thorough grounding in written and spoken mandarin.

that depends on if u want flexible time or want class of others whom u think u cannot learn...if u consider personal one to one ,then let me know as i can recommend you one whom taught me ...pm me ..
