Just arrived in Sigapore this past weekend trying to acquire business from both financial advisors and individual expats looking for Asset Management services back in the States.
Now that I am here, running around as one can only imagine, would anyone know of any good networking events, or even a nice/friendly bar/cafe that I may be able to attend throughout the week. Any help would be very appreciated.
BY the way, Worry not, I am a very congenial and respectful individual who would definately not be one to add a bad taste to anyone's atmosphere. Thanks, in advance for the help. Talk to all soon...

What do you mean "asset management services back in the States"?
Most folks have asset managers present in the US.
What would really be useful is an investment program that would allow people holding US assets ($ denominated) out of US dollars and into other currencies without adverse tax consequences. The US dollar keeps dropping.

Are you talking about ARBing the currencies against each other.....That would something more along the lines of dealing with a securities manager....I am strictly here to offer management services that are
property based for expats brought over, possibly on contract, with family's and assetts left behind.
In regards to other Investment Opportunity's I can offer several property packs in Prime location aliong with a PPM account that is currently yielding 10.99% for the year, prior to any Fund Appreciation / Liquidation. If any of this falls in your realm of interest, I would love to meet up and discuss more as I am definately looking to gather a much better grip on the Foreign Investment opportunities available within the US/Singapore market.
I will be here all week and look forward to hearing back from you. By the way, any suggestions on quality places to meet up with like minded people after a long day?????
Talk to you soon and all the best, as always.....
