Reject of my EPEC Application

Hi I am from India , Working in K.L as a Consultant for IT , I wanted to move Singapore , I had applied for an EPEC Visa but still i was rejected, and i am still wondering why is my Application Rejected, eventhough i have good education Qualification, where i am holding a Masters Degree in System.

Did you check that your degree is from an accredited school? Check this:

As it happens, a friend of mine with rock-solid qualifications (master's from accredited university, 10+ years of work experience at big-name IT companies) also had his EPEC rejected today. No explanation given, of course, but I wonder what's going on? Has anybody out there actually managed to get an EPEC?

Yes. A former colleague of mine got his EPEC approved last month.

Ta, although I don't really see why you didn't just post it here for everybody to see...?
I didn't really see anything to differentiate your former colleague from my friend though. So clerical error somewhere along the way, or then there's some quota that's already been hit...?

So there's a quota of EPEC approved per month?

There are published requirements for all types of passes. There are internal point summaries to which we mere mortals are not privy to. We don't know if there is a quota or not. Hence the
smilie being used. It would make sense if it did (they used to have naturalized citizen quotas from what I was told - this was to ensure that the majority population kept it majority percentage of 79.8% of the citizenship. How true that is today............. who knows.

I got my EPEC approved 1 month ago, I'm a fresh Master's graduate of an Australian university.
Now I'm in Singapore. Waiting for my LTSVP.
This is my third day in Singapore and it is my first day of Job-Hunting.
I'd say, looking for a job would not be an easy task
I'll stay here around 2 or 3 months, if I can not get the job offers I want. I'll come back to CN
