Thought someone actually mentioned about it not too long ago & it's lost in action. Now "Restart" ? ?
Dounut is game for it, but where & when is important.

oh yeah, badminton sounds good!
but in SG, finding a court may be a challenge though... only recently did a friend just manage to get a weekend booking, but not regular yet.
would love to get a weekly game... so do PM me if u're gonna have a group started.
also, we sometimes have spaces available for the weekend game so if u're keen to join us, usually sunday afternoon near town, PM me. you'd have to BYO racket/shuttles though
cheers,
byron

Well, I am a member of PA and am able to book courts. I have always played at Cairnhill CC new Newton MRT and Kampong Glam CC near Beach Road. I make a booking a week in advance for a Sunday game.
I used to play every Sunday until my badminton playing partner decided to move to NYC. Since then I have not really played. So if there at least 4-5 people, we can form a Sunday evening group. Sundays are preferred as it is nice to relax and sweat out all the clubbing and alcohol done on the weekend, gives a nice feeling when you have a post game shower and you will sleep really well and wake up monday morning ready to solve world problems. Ok! the last part was a bit too much. But pretty much you will feel very good.
So what say you all? Sunnygal, since you started this, I presume this would be ideal? To form a regular crowd to play?

Hey there,
Carinhill is a central area and close to Newton MRT. Hopefully most people find it convenient enough. I am keen to join anyone.
Anyone wants to try to start the ball rolling?:)

Johnny - Where & Time on Saturday ? ?
Carinhill, Newton & Novena is out for me, transport is a problem, as I have no direct bus nor MRT to go there, but involve 3 changes.
I used to play on Saturday, at SingTel Building behind Someset MRT Station. Any NTUC Members can book & get discounts. I remembered the rate was $2 per hour few years back, where most CC charged $3~4 at peak period.
What about SAFRA Clubs ? ?
