Singapore Expats

Anyone interested in learning Spanish? I do not have any foundation and is planning to sign up for a beginner course. I was thinking if there's anyone out there who is interested in the language too and would like to attend classes together. I'm shortlisting Las Lilas or NUS Extension but NUS's price is a little steep and the duration is shorter so it might be more stressful(or at least for me), though I've heard raves on it and how recognised the institute and the lecturers are. Nonetheless, Las Lilas is a reputation Spanish school as well!

My main concern is that I'll not be able to catch up learning a foreign language all by myself as I've no friends speaking Spanish. I'd love to meet more people who's interested in the language so that we can converse together, or a tad better, learn it together!

Hi! I think that there are about 200 spanish people in SG, but not a lot around the forum as I know (currently i only know a spanish girl in this forum), but there is a group of spanish speakers that meet one saturday night every month at Abrazos.

You can search for those posts, or PM me if you want some help about spanish. Im not a teacher, so I cant advice you which is the best way of studying, but I would be glad to help you a bit, as lot of people here is helping me a lot for improving my english.

wow I'd really love to practise my Spanish again. I learned a lot during half a years stay in Mexico but now I'm scared that I'm loosing it again. Just some occasional conversations would be great.
