Has anyone done bladeless lasik (intralase) in JB?
Is it recommended to do there to save money or spend more to have it done in Spore?

Save money? How many pairs of eyes do you have? Just do it in Singapore with a reputable doctor.

There're RM2000/eyeball ops in Kuala Lumpur.
Save on all other things, but not this.
Did mine in Jan with Dr Lee Hung Ming. Still 20/20 now. Cost $5000 in total.

Ya do in singapore also almost the same price as malaysia. n the trouble to review and after opt. coz u need someone to pick u up.
i did mine in Singapore Lasik at Paragon. cost me less than 2.4k for both eyes n free enhancement within a year. now my eyes is 6/6. furthermore can pay by installment with credit card for 12 mths interest free.

did u guys have had dry eyes prior to that ?
if yes, how is it after the operation?
if no, did u have probs after the treatment ?
I have dry eyes and I read a lot about dry eyes after surgery. now in their offers they even include free eyes plugs, so that means it is a common thing...?

what is the name of the place in paragon - is it the lasik surgery clinic? which doctor did you use and recommend for lasik? i see from the website they charge $100 for an evaluation - i guess there is no place that give you a free consultation on whether you qualify for lasik or not... thanks for your help

Hi aadvark & dreampotion
it is a standard lasik. Not sure about the blade stuff.
It is immediate result, i did at 6pm, the whole procedure takes less than 15 min and the lasik took less than a min. I reach home around 8pm n took sleeping pill. On the very next morning, WOW it is crystal clear vision. I would say... no down time, no swelling, no complication etc... very simple and immediate effect.
I check their web, now they increase the price laio.

i have heard someone else mention about lee hung ming as well - could you pm me or post more about your experience with him - kind of lasik you did, the post-op process, care involved, etc?

i did at optimax in city square after my friends did theirs there...
i am happy to report 6/6 vision after 1 mth plus... compared to a colleague who did at SNEC and has one eye still 150 degree myopia...
so not that dodgy la, but a hassle to get in and out across the causeway tho...

but read too many bad reports about it...
Quite worried abt infection and stuffs.
