Starting business, for selling once a year?

Hi!
I am currently doing research for my new small business (Ltd.) located in the United Kingdom. I am researching the possibilities of giving communication training courses once a year in Singapore.
Sales will occur via online credit card payment on our website. Customers can be from Singapore, other asian countries, or around the world.
Considering it is a once a year affair, I wonder how the best way to go about it is. Or if it is maybe too much trouble then it's worth. When I read the Entrepass posts, I am thinking that's waaay to much trouble for selling in singapore once a year.
1. I want to stay legal.
2. How much are taxes? Do I need to declare income and sales tax?
3. Start local representation on our own. Or perhaps via an agent? Another way to sell once a year training in Singapore?
4. Where to find a good agent? (Would they be willing to work on a commision base?)
5. What else do I need to know?
