hey, is there any soul who went for etihad airlines interview recently on 21 Sept 07???can share how's the interview going??oh well,i miss tat as i was bz working as a car sales...grew sick in this line and intend to change to air hostess...however,i like to know the requirement like education??minimum??it stated something like secondary level...like wat??N or O level n how many credits or diploma??it didnt stated u c.....as i did bad for my O level...age??i'm 20 this year...height??weight??race maybe??n wat type of formal wear for interview??skirt n executive wear??like long sleeve shirt...will there be any swimmin test??n oso i have a small tattoo on my arm...will i be rejected??n when will be the next interview??i like tis airlines as the uniform is unique from others...can share anyone??i''m dying to be an air hostess as i hate my present job...so stress!!!

The requirements for application of a position as Cabin Crew with Etihad Airways is as follows (if I didn't remember wrongly):

(1) Your height should be approx. 1.62m and weight should be proportional to your height. You must be able to reach a height of 212cm.

(2) Academic level should be of at least high school standards (I think O level should suffice)

(3) Successful candidates will be based in UAE, Abu Dhabi

(4) There is no race discrimination as the airline is an international carrier and has almost 90 different nationalities working together.

As to your tattoo, so long as it can be covered within the uniform, it should be fine. Not sure if it is short sleeve or long sleeve blouse requirement though. There will be no swimming test for the assessment. However, you will be required to state if you can swim at least 50m. I would suggest that if you are invited for the assessment day by ppl from EY, it would be best that you be dressed in Exec wear else you will feel odd as most ppl will be dressed that way.

hmmm..looks like tough though..anyway one of my gf loves to try this next interview...but she only has N level??do u think she meet the requirement??or try other airlines??

No problem abt the qualification. I also have N level, and i tried for the interview but then didnt managed to reach 214cm so.... dun worry abt qualification as long you can reach the heigth requirement, they will let you sit for the interview

the qualification is High School~As in O level n above...

Thanks for the info....well i guess maybe my gf can just give it a try for next interview...no harm in trying...as for her everything fits the bill, just the education part...
