Singapore Expats

Hi,

Moving from Sydney to Singapore mid November, have chosen a reputable mover but their insurance rates are a bit steep. Was advised to shop around for independent insurance as it is cheaper. Has anyone else done this and if so who did you use?

Are you moving your furnitures to Singapore as well?
Because we have just moved from Sydney to Singapore last month. We only took the necessity, such as clothes etc.
