I am relocating from New York to Singapore shortly. I am having difficulty getting high quality information on how much an MD at a global investment bank receives for his housing allowance. We are a family of three.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks for your help.

There are no rules for the housing allowance, other than the company's rules, is there?

From CEOs and MDs I know, this varies from 5K to up to 30K S$ per month.

With the banks on the top tier league table, that would be around 20-30k for the B-g Swinging D--ks. LOL. No offence, eh?

$20 - 30k does sound outrageous, better no to get the OP's hopes up. Is that really in the realm?
