I'm going mental. I'm not usually considered a "big" girl, but I can't find my size at all. Where's the magic bra shop in Singapore?

Try contacting someone from the AWA (american women's association) or maybe BWA or ANZA. I know from my days in jakarta there was a sort of 'underground' network for larger sized bras - there was a woman who would sell them wholesale. If you go on the website you might just want to drop a line to see if there is something similar. Have you tried Marks & Spencer? They do a good range of undergarments in western sizes.

I did try M&S, but I'm looking for non-wired or maternity, and they don't sell them in my size! At all - I checked online when I got home, too, and they just don't do my size in those ranges. (And the closest size they do have doesn't fit - I tried.) I had the same problem with M&S in the UK.

have you tried the one from egg maternity (vivo city)? unfortunately, there seems to be just one design:

have you checked out mothercare? lots of maternity - non underwire in larger sizes. i bought a non-underwire padded maternity bra from 'bloom' - i think it was in raffles city but i know there is one in plaza singapura. it's a great bra - padded like a sports bra almost but in a normal bra shape. i almost bought another one after i was pregnant b/c it was so comfortable and i liked the padding.

i'm a big fan of the non-underwire but i find that they don't go above a 36B - even at victoria secret in the states. i think they think if you have knockers over a b cup you need underwire! i'm not sure your size - but i did buy a couple of 36B non-underwire at women's secret and the band size must have been a bit larger b/c i'm usually a 38. good luck!

I'm a 30-32D just at the moment. (I know this because I still have one bra that fits from previous pregnancy.) They're a bit thin on the ground in that size, but I do need the flexibility of a non-wired, because I have a ways to go yet (I hope). Bra manufacturers everywhere seem to think you can't be more than a C at the outside if you're a 30-32. Where are these "average" women? Has anyone ever met one?

in a 30-32 you should have no problem finding the band size since usually the problem with coming to asia is being to broad in the back. but yes, if you have a small band - they stop at a B for the cup. definitely check out that bloom shop - the bra i was talking about was only about $30 so very affordable. i remember my maternity bra from my first pregnancy being around $100!

I was in M&S today and noticed thay have a lot of new ranges, some of them going up to an E.

I always use www.figleaves.com and found them very good.
