dress shops

Can anyone recommend a good area to go shopping for women's dresses. Myself, my sister and my mum want to find a dress to wear to a summer wedding. Where is good to go? Thanks.

Do you suggest any particular shops in general? My experience of the more ritzy shops in Orchard Road is that they dont have many dresses.

Try this shop called "Lavender" on Stamford Road. It is just opposite the City Hall MRT Station near the huge bus stop on Stamford Road. The shop front is facing the bus stop and as you pass by, you can see the dresses in the window display. Very sweet dresses, very summery. Might see if they have a website you can go visit....

Usually Robinsons was a good place to shop but when I went there 2 days ago ..it was such a dissapointment ..expensive and not nice clothes at all.
