Bellini Room at St. James Power Station. They have a big band there, even bigger than Jazz @ South Bridge. Awesome!

Eugene Pau is awesome. You should also check out Munier Alsagoff, he's fantastic too. If you want quieter Jazz in a piano wine and cigar bar with a view, just a 2 piece - piano and singer, you can go to City Space at Swissotel too. Right next to Equinox.

actually I like when jazz is little "rough" with drums and bass taking part of the action.

this Eugene Pau was really impressive in mixing blues and jazz...
seems he played with some great musicians too!

it was like Robben Ford and BB King on steroids on the night he was playing ;)

Then you should definitely check out The Bellini Room. If big band style is your cuppa tea, you'll be happy there!

Harry's Bar, Boat Quay
Blue Jazz Cafe, Bali Lane

Both have decent live acts regularly.
