hello all, hope you are well.

need about 30-40 big protective floor panels that lock together to cover my huge living room (with marble floor) as my babies are very active, keep falling down and bang their heads.

looked at toys'r'us but they charge quite a lot :???: :???:

is there another local place that i can buy kids protectors cheaper?

we are in the west area.
but can travel anywhere to pick them up as i am scared they will get seriously injured...

or maybe i can buy 2 cheap big carpets like 2.50 cm x 3.00 cm to do the job.

i looked at IKEA alexandra road, but they charge $350-$500 for a 2.30cmx 2.30cm...!

any advice would be highly appreciated..

we also thought of a big octagonal playpen but my boys will surely demolish it, as they are so hyper active and ..only 9 months old!

best regards theodoros from greece.

dont be tight on money when it comes to kids safety :P

you can either get a cheapo carpet and get an underlay which will give the carpet a thicker feel or goto toys r us and get the safety mat (4pcs, 60cm x 60cm for S$29.95).

agree

hi i agree 10000% .
i never said that i dont wanna spend the $ for the kids protection.

i just asked for a cheaper place,,, as if we buy those - 60x60 cm panels for $30 each from toys'r'us- it will cost us around 1000-1200$ just to cover the massive living room and hallway at the condo and they are not that thick as well.

...maybe 2-3 big carpets will cost less and will probably look better when having guests etc...

anyway, if anyone knows if IMM does kids protective panels, pls let me know.

kind regards

we got those 12" square tiles that are about 10mm thick and made of a spongy rubber like substance, they also have letters and numbers that lock into them like a jigsaw and my son loved playing with them, they were not too expensive and cover half his room - got them at toys-r-us and am very happy with them
