How to get through round 1 of Singapore Airlines interview

Hello to everyone. What i heard from my uncle is that they need alot of people for the 27 Jan interview so just go for it. What the want is that you have the height and that you can talk confident and well and they don;t go for look. Thats what he told me as he is a chief steward. Yup. So all the best to you all.

No prob. R u going for the 27 Jan interview. Just be yourself. When you enter the room. just give the interviewers and light smile and do not sit down straight away until they tell you to sit. Thats just basic courtesy. Yup they take note of such stuff. Cool.

hey zandlelightz,
yupe...will b gg for the 27th jan walk-in....
my last walk-in was on 1st dec.... and sad to say that i was out at mgmt round....
was very demoralised.... that's y i said.. it is so close and yet so far away....
but i'll definitely do my best on 27th... hopefully can get in...
how abt u? attended any walk-in? or anything?

I always fail at round 1 coz i tend to be nervous den will get stuck at my words. =( The furthest i went is round 2 only.....hopefully this 27 Jan i will make it and the qn they ask will be the standard one.

Hey salvana
I am going on the 27 Jan interview and thats is going to be my first interview and i hope to get in. Haha. I hope my height will help me as i am 182cm . That is giving me abit of hope. I have 2 years of customer service experience. But what my uncle heard that there was one girl who was only a n level holder and she got through and she was one 159 cm tall. So good luck to you. Maybe i ask you what question they ask you during mgmt round. Thanks

yupe... i was told that the ban period is 2 mths.... so, by 27th.... it's almost 2 mths....
hey zandlelightz,
well, practically... i gave a short intro abt myself and some simple qns pertaining to my part time study that i'm undertaking.... and nutin at all related to the cabin crew.... that's when i knew that 'there goes my chance'
well well.... u r a very tall guy huh?
i'm only 158cm... somehow SIA measure me 157... worse still i was measured 156 before....
so, height is anotha issue for me....
oh well... who cares... no matter wat obstacles that we have......juz go for the interview and do our best.....
