Phuket - recommendations please

We are off to Phuket next week, staying 2 nights at Surin beach and 2 nights at Phuket Yacht Club on the south. Also planning the Sea Canoe trip around Phang Nga Bay. Any tips from experienced travellers would be appreciated, especially eating recommendations as I love Thai food! We will have our two boys with us, aged 8 & 10 and up for any exciting excursions! Thx

you will be fine in thailand. they are very geared up for tourist. just beware the thai food is a "no hold barrier" when it comes to chillies!!! thai food in singapore is a bit toned down by comparison.

You must visit Bamboo Island. It's clear clear clear and not polluted with tourists!

...and james bond island which WILL be polluted with tourist, but still go! after all, you are a tourist there.
