We are moving from europe to singapore and I got the prices. I am a little stuck on recommendation of movers on the singapore leg.
2 companies in singapore so far.
Allied pickfords
AsianTigers KC dat
Does anyone have good or bad experience with those 2 companies ?
It is a door to door, so I need someone that is careful enough when they unpack, rebuild the furniture and put items back again in the cupboards.
appriciate any comments. thanks

Got quotes from Allied, but went with KC Dat and don't regret it one bit.

I have used allied pickford twice for local move. I have a LOT of stuff including piano, anitque shelves, designer furniture, etc. THey did a GREAT job in wrapping things up and unpacking. the only thing that i was not happy about was they said they were going to finish by 7pm by they didn't finish till 10pm. But I'd rather they take their time in moving my stuff and not breaking anything. By they way, it seems to me all the workers in both KC Dat and allied Pickford are indians.
I got a quote from KC Dat but didn't use them because the sale person wasn't that efficient. However, the sale person i was using at Allied Pickford have left now.

What possible reason would it matter if the movers were Indian?

Did both companies use trucks and cardboard boxes? Let's get all our facts straight, by all means...

But is it a relevant fact for making a decision to use a particular mover?
Are we supposed base our recommendations on that as being either a pro or con? If neither then why bring it up?
