hi and welcome to the little red dot as we say.
I would check out the 30's forum section as you have for activities.
There's beach volleyball every saturday and people are welcome to go and join that, newbies included and there's also FNDC which is also every friday. That normally moves venue to give people a chance to see different bars etc etc. Some people drink, some don't, it's all down to you.
Once you get to know people you'll get numbers, meet friends etc and then there's no looking back. trust me... That's how I started all those months ago!
Meet new people??

Hi Whynot
Have you managed to meet any people yet? I am relatively new to Singapore and still kinda finding my feet. If you'd like to meet up for a few drinks then lets arrange something. I can't PM you cos haven't got enough posts on the forum yet.
Cheers
Kate

Hi fellow newbie,
I am an ex-pat professional from New York City and have been here all of 3 weeks myself. I have some friends here but no one is interested in exploring the city with me, just drinking and that gets old real fast. If you are normal (viz - not an axe murderer), easy going, and willing to explore, give me a shout.
Tony
