where to buy laptop UK or Singapore

Hi, am moving to Singapore next week and I need to buy a laptop. I can buy a high spec. laptop in the UK for around GB £1200. I need a 17" screen for graphics. From looking it seems more expensive in Singapore. Can anyone help to decide If It would be better to buy from the UK or wait untill Im in Singapore.

if you need warranty, then buy in singapore unless the laptop you buy in UK has international warranty. also check if you can claim back the 17.5% VAT when making a price comparison.

Hi,
I personally suggest Harvey Norman, Best Denki or Courts.
You can pay in installments through credit cards and they offer 5 year extended warranty.
Before you buy from them, check out the lowest price you can get from elsewhere and bargain from there.
