i was phoning a few estate agent to check out some properties advertised in the strait times. i was using my overseas mobile so the callers ID will show it is a foreign number.
so one of this agent i phoned up, when he picked up, all i can hear him say was "call me when you are in singapore" and then hang up! so i phone again, and he hang up!!! and i phone again trying to get a few words in saying I AM IN SINGAPORE.
then he said he doesnt want to answer my call because he doesnt want to waste his money answering an oversea calls, and he hang up again.

Only thing I don't get is if he has already treated you like dirt and blown you off in spite of multiple attempts at contacting him, why would you even consider using this guy?

So much for all the "service focus" they keep talking about...
Honestly, who would ever hire someone like that to help with a real estate transaction worth potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars?! Especially when they earn through commissions.

do you even have to pay extra for incoming overseas call?
