Hi

I just began learning mandarin and would like to find either a cheap private teacher or somebody to improve my oral understanding and pronounciation.
You need to be able to talk either English of French, as my mandarin is very poor.
I am not looking specifically for real teacher, but you should be either native mandarin, or very fluent in both speaking and pinying writing. A student or housewife would be best, since I would prefer weekday, daytime lessons. Fee to be discussed, or I can teach you French or beginner's English.

I am interested as well...though currently I do not attend classes, nor do I have materials. Can you suggest a book/text that you might use, and where I could see the book (do they have them at Popular?) ? I do have materials from a young student's class, however, am looking for something a bit more complete for an adult learner. Xiexie

I am a Singaporean and I ever given private tuition for Mandarin. Sounds good if you don't mind me teaching you mandarin & you can teach me french.

I used to stay in France for a while but since I am back in Singapore I have all return back there.

Seems is liek a business language hunt .. I myself want to learn chinese too specially to understand when people talk and improve more my accent, for now i can speack mandarin for like 30% so i wont' be too hard student

I can make a v.good language exchange too i speak 6 langs. i can exchange by teachinng French English or Arabic

I'm chinese malaysian, living in holland village. If u are interested learning mandarin with basic converstations, i could guide you during my spread time, no fee to charge.

Those learning material you have to purchase yourself, I could company you to go popular book store and buy. =)

Eh i think shanghainese is not a very popular language, perhaps you should learn Spanish, German or French..
