Singapore Expats

Hiya

I am arriving in singapore on the 20th May to start a new job/life etc. I don't know anyone so would be keen to join in on some Friday night drinking to break into the expat crowd.

Anyone got any ideas on where the party will be on Friday 23rd May???

p.s. I am 26 year old straight British guy who will be working for a freight derivatives broker.....I am looking for a flatshare near an MRT preferably around the Novena area.....let me know if you know of anything

With regards to finding a place to stay around Novena / Newton area.

I'm also working in the Derivative world - OTC .
Not too sure where about in Singapore you will be working,
I'm currently renting a place in Queens ( Queenstown ).
Its a good location too , and like a 5 mins walk to the station and a direct tube ride ( 15-20 mins ) to get to Raffles place.
On top of that , its located very near to to Orchard Road and Clark Quay !
