Does any body can tell me what could be the estimated price for a brand new PC with configuration
Pentium IV
40GB HardDisk
256 MB Ram
Speakers
CD-ROM

you can always check out the
Dell webiste, they have custom made computers. Hope that helps.

in india u can get Brand ne PC with best configuration in 25000. in singapore range starts from 28000 ( $1000).
why is it so, as i heard that electronics items are cheap in singapore

depends on brand.One maybe generic homemade variety. The other may be branded with product warranties etc

if its a self assemble PC. the cost will be lower.

A friend used to tell me if you go to Sim Lim square and ask for a regular Pentium 4 2.8Gb PC with 15" CRT monitor and a CD-ROM (CD-ROM Only!) plus all the regular stuff - it would only cost me around S$1.3K However, I havent done anything to that cause I bought mine from HP *LOL*
But seriously go to Sim Lim Square its around S$1.3K for regular configurations.
