Singaporeans/PR only?

Why are so many jobs posted on online job sites (eg. jobsdb/jobstreet) only accepting singaporeans and PRs.

Because it's Singapore?
How many Jobs do you see posted for foreigners in the US? UK? AUS? Why should Singapore be any different?

How many times does it have to be stated? Any country has a duty to look after its' own citizens first. The only way you are welcome to take up employment is if you possess a skills and experience that the government cannot find amongst its own population. Alternatively start your own business if of course you have something to offer.
