How would you react if you had a transgender child?

Maybe cause I dont have kids, so I cant answer for sure, but the most important thing would be that my kid is actually really serious about it (ive heard of some 6 to 8 yr olds wanting to commit suicides because they believe they were born the wrong gender). As long as they are healthy, thats what matters most to me.
