Well, people, I'm back from Davy Jones's Locker and almost have all the water out of my head - so it's now time to fill it up with beer

This week FNDC will be at Paulaner Bräuhaus - located directly across the road from Suntec Convention Centre in the Time Square part of Millenia Walk.

Not really close to any MRT (still waiting for that Circle Line!). The nearest one is City Hall, but it's about a 10 to 15 minute walk underground - follow the signs to Suntec. Otherwise, plenty of buses stop at the Convention Centre and there's a taxi stand there, too. Be careful crossing the road - it's a busy corner there.

As usual I'll book a space under Craig/FNDC - hopefully outside if it's not raining. Please give a shout if you plan on attending so I have a rough idea of how many to book for.

Looking forward to meeting any newbies who I missed last week (and of course all you old-timers).

Yeah - didn't bother mentioning that happy hour ends at 8 coz it's actually only 20% off, which is barely a tickle in the side of a Singapore beer tab.

Note to Heather - you'll need to get your Gin-fix somewhere else first - maybe Balaclava (they also have a pretty good band playing there so may go have a looksee later on)

Guess I did stuff that one up. I have 31st on the brain coz it's the Final of the Super 14 rugby and my team's in it. Of course we are going to get our proverbials kicked by Canterbury but there's always a slim chance.

For anyone who's confused, FNDC is on Friday the 30th. I have requested one of the moderators to rename the post.

When was the last time I had champagne? That's usually the early morning fare at St James. Who are you Bia (and why are you curious?)

Okely Dokely folks - last minute update.

Paulaner only takes bookings for dining, not drinking, so I couldn't make a reservation.

The plan is - if it is not raining then we will try to hijack the outdoors area (ground level directly opposite Suntec Convention Centre). If it is raining then I'm not sure where we will be - maybe on the second level.

I will inform the bar staff to direct anyone asking for FNDC to us, but if you can't find me (or don't know I am yet) then feel free to give me a call or sms on 81369224 and I'll let you know where we are or come and find you.
