window safety

hi ,i am moving to a house in punggol which has open windows, i have a 2 year old girl , my concern is the window portion is very unsafe ,i have to get the the windows covered (grill etc),does anyone know where to go and how much wud it cost?
i dont want to spend much coz i am a tenant.
plz help .

you might be able to get the landlord to do it for you,
look up the yellow pages or one of those renovation guides in the book stores. You should be able to get some quotes on a per sq foot basis if you call them.
Basically aluminium grills are cheaper, they are adequate for safety (to prevent children from falling off) but not as strong as wrought iron ones.

Our friends asked the landlord to put in the grills and he was fine with installing them (for free).
