Study Abroad

I would like to add value to my qualification by taking a degree course in either Australia/USA. As I have with me a 6 yrs old kid that will also need a better education, preferably together with me, for at least a couple of years. However, I have tried but failed to find any relevant information of how or what I should do to get both of us visas for our studies. Will be glad if I can obtain appropriate information through these forum. Thank you.
