Singapore Expats

Hello,
I will try again, I am hoping for descriptions of grade schools. I have a 6 year old daughter, she is bright and sensitive, has finished kindergarten this year and will be entering 1st grade.
We have been asked to move to Singapore in August. It does not give us much time for school research or a preliminary trip.
Please recommend!

what are you after? private? international? local? chinese? indian? american? korean? fijian? rhodesian? swiss? gov? location?

Hello,
Most likely we will be looking for a nice, private, international or American School. I know private does not necessarily mean 'nice'. But I am looking for fairly small class size and a nurturing environment, nice to have options of language, music and arts.
