Manado (Indonesia) Dive Trip 5-10th September

This is an open invitation for any avid divers who would like to come diving in Manado. I did this trip in July and was so impressed I'm going back. I also think this represents incredible value for money - 5 days diving off a Live-aboard for $890.

Last trip I managed 15 dives, but the first day we arrived early evening and only got in 1 night dive. The flight schedule has changed and we'll be arriving around midday - I'm anticipating 20+ dives for this trip. Most dives are very easy - my gf had just done her o/w and didn't have any problems. There are also 2 experienced dive masters who will be leading each dive, as well as another dive master and experienced diver (Iqbal and myself).

Note; this is not an advertisement - this is a few divers who have already booked the dive vessel and are offering anyone who would like to come along the opportunity to do so.

Following is a spiel by the organiser, Iqbal. Contact details at the bottom. If you'd like to see pictures we can link you to the facebook page where there are a few photos and videos from the July trip.

Ps; If you're keen to do this then you will need to book your airfares soon - prices will increase as the plane fills up. Also, you need to book more than 1 person to get the discount airfare.

Hi Guys I'm heading back to Manado Indonesia in September.
A 6d5n Expedition covering Bangka, Lembeh and Manado.
A total of 18 guided dives.

The Liveaboard Aurora
A 26 metre traditional Sulawesi Dive boat. Every room has ensuite facilities. A restaurant, Sundeck, Moondeck, A fully equipped dive station. No worries about getting seasick because the boat has a sharp hull 2m deep. Very stable and it's complimented with 1 dinghy. Full diving first aid on board including DAN O2 Kit. The crew and I will manage the boat in Manado when we are there to ensure full comfort for the trip. No marine park fees needed when diving from MV Aurora. 1 to a room for the same price. Massage services onboard!

The Diving in Lembeh
Most of your dives will be Muck dives and more to macro than big stuffs. Divemasters with more than 25 years of experience will spot even the tiniest and rarest critters for you. Diving only the top dive sites like Hairball, Nudi Retreat, Angels Window and California Dreaming.

The Diving in Bangka
Most pristine corals to be found in North Sulawesi. And Marine life ranging from giant tuna to sharks and even macro is good there. More preferred by Photographers as a wideangle shot.

The Diving in Bunaken
Most your dives will be wall diving. Its a must for big fish enthusiast. You get rare species of macro as well such as the Pontohi Pygmy Seahorse and more. Hammerhead shark diving is possible provided all divers on trip are comfortable with diving depth of 35 meters.

Hi Morton

I'm very interested by the dive trip. I've tried both emails addresses, and none works. I'm advanced PADI, and already did live aboard trip in the Similans and Red Sea.
How many divers will be on board? Do you know if dive equipment is available on board?

Here is my email [email protected]

Cheers
Emmanuel

Hi Emmanuel - I just sent a reply to your email address.

Anyone else interested - there are currently 4 of us going on this trip. If you want to come along you will have your own cabin!

Equipment is not available on board, apart from tanks and weights which are provided. Any dive gear needs to be rented here and taken with you.
