I do have collection of photos from Mcritchie reservoir and other beautifull places

I was planning on this Satuday shooting at Sungei Buloh wetland reserve. There are a few people who has PM me so I need to figure it out who could join in.

I don't own a proper decent camera but was planning on getting into photography when I got to Singapore Can novices join?

Sure, everyone who loves photography are welcome to join!

Does not matter if you own a pro SLR or not, it's the passion that counts.

Plan for this Sat, 9 Aug 08 :
- Wait at entrance of SBWR (http://www.sbwr.org.sg) at 10 a.m.
- Photography session till 1 p.m.
- Lunch after 1 p.m, then back home

Hmm! I've lived in Singapore for 12+ years, and I've always been meaning to go to Sungei Buloh. Ah well, too late for this one. Next time, perhaps. From what I've seen from google images, it looks like a pretty interesting place.

Well, you didn't miss much as I didn't see much too - only 4 different types of bird (no idea what their names were), 1 big grasshopper, 1 squirrel, long thin fishes with spotlight on their heads & jumping fishes that swims like butterfly style (I knew I heard some splashing sounds but can't figure out where). It's not the bird's migration period - maybe that's why.

But Kranji Express ($2 per loop) brings you to a whole other places so I dropped off at some plants nursery & a fruit orchard - got some macro shots, will upload for sharing when I'm done processing the RAW files. The best thing is, I've eaten all those fruits but never know how the trees it came from looks like! The pink guavas looks so tempting!! Argh...

Next date for shooting - 23 Aug 2008, Saturday (venue to be determined - unless someone has some suggestions).

Anyone interested?
